(Del 6/65) idling away on Rwy 30 while the Loadmaster discussed a suitable parking area with the airfield staff at the Queensland Vintage Aeroplane Group's "Festival of Flight 2007". Upon reaching the designated spot the main wheels started to bog so the mighty 'Bou was given a healthy dose of throttle and moved back out onto the Runway and made a departure back to RAAF Amberley. Aircraft is operated by 38 Squadron.

(Built 1994) parked outside the CareFlight Queensland hangar after landing at the completion of another test flight prior to the air thumping Bell 230's entry into service. I'd waited a very long time to photograph a member of the Bell 222 family and I sincerely thank CareFlight Queensland for the chance to see this splendid looking chopper up nice and close. Since entering service XCW is easily recognised as she flies over the suburbs of Brisbane! Ex N4UV.

"Gayndah Qld". Built 1966. Battered and broken after severe storms with winds up to 180km/h and heavy rain passed through Gayndah on October 29th tossing this little Cessna around like tissue paper. The starboard wing was ripped from the aircraft and was laying nearby as was one of the doors.
