Came to grief while landing, veered off the runway and crashed into two hangars, thankfully there were no serious injuries. The Rockwell Commander 700 is a pretty rare type, with only 49 built. This is only the second one I have ever photographed.

My 1500th picture in Airliners! Of course it couldn’t be a better airplane than the majestic B747SP of Las Vegas Sands to celebrate such achievement! This was the fourth photographed during this unbelievable trip to the United States, after catching N7477S, P4-FSH and N747NA in the Arizona. Luckily neither the Airbus A340-500 (VP-BMS) nor the Boeing 767-300 (N804MS) were in town and parked in front of this magnificent piece of art, something that is very common at Las Vegas.
