Low res Port side Window View after landing on Rwy 23, at Frankton Airport (NZQN / ZQN) Queenstown New Zealand, taken from Mount Cook Airline ATR-72-212 ZK-MCQ MSN 453 on 05Apr1996. The ATR-72 wing flaps have been retracted during roll-out. ( I was there to attend my first Warbirds Over Wanaka). A low aspect view of the ‘Remarkable’ Range dominates the background. (Near-new ZK-MCQ was Delivered in Nov 1995.)

In-Flight Port side Window View on a long Approach to Rwy 23 at Frankton Airport (NZQN / ZQN) Queenstown New Zealand, taken from Mount Cook Airline ATR-72-212 ZK-MCQ MSN 453 on 05Apr1996. The aircraft is passing snow-capped ranges in the vicinity of Lake Wakatipu. ( I was about to attend my first Warbirds Over Wanaka airshow). The ATR-72 wing and flap jack fairings are at top left, and the engine exhaust is at top right. (Near-new ZK-MCQ was Delivered in Nov 1995.)

Close-cropped front Portside view of Air New Zealand Link (Mount Cook Airlines) ATR ATR-72-212 ZK-MCQ MSN 453 having baggage unloaded at Queenstown Airport NZQN on 05Apr1996. My first (and only) flight in a Mount Cook Airlines ATR-72 was in ZK-MCQ. The 0.9 hour flight from Christchurch to Queenstown on that day enabled me to attend my first Warbirds Over Wanaka (WOW) Airshow over Easter 1996.
